About Me

Hello, I’m Hayley Blundell, an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), providing compassionate breastfeeding support throughout the Bass Coast region.

I’m also a Maternal and Child Health Nurse, Registered Midwife, and Registered Nurse, with extensive experience caring for women, babies, and families. Alongside my professional roles, I’m a proud mum to two beautiful daughters, which has deepened my understanding of the joys and challenges of early parenthood.

My approach is gentle, client-centred, and tailored to your unique feeding and parenting goals. I believe every family deserves support that is respectful, holistic, and empowering—so you can feel confident and enjoy this precious time with your baby.

I’ve supported families with a wide range of breastfeeding challenges, including: breast attachment concerns, engorgement, low milk supply, nipple pain or trauma, mastitis and blocked ducts, breast refusal, baby weight gain concerns and tandem feeding support.

Alongside breastfeeding support, I also provide gentle, evidence-informed sleep and settling guidance for infants and young children. My approach focuses on responsive parenting, helping families create calm, nurturing routines that support healthy sleep without compromising connection. Every family and child is unique, so I work closely with you to develop strategies that feel right for your values, your baby, and your lifestyle.

Breastfeeding has always been at the heart of my career—and it’s my greatest passion. It’s an incredible privilege to guide families through such an important and vulnerable time. My consultations centre on honest gentle communication, trust, and evidence-informed care, ensuring you feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Based locally in the Bass Coast, I offer in-home consultations for your comfort and convenience, as well as telehealth appointments for families outside the region. A Wonthaggi clinic space will be available soon.

I would be honoured to support your breastfeeding and early parenting journey, please feel free to reach out and connect.
